On Sunday mornings we meet at St John's Church of England Primary School (Kingsmead site), St Radigund’s Place off Duck Lane CT1 1AF

By Car: Lots of free parking beside school. No vehicle access through St Radigund’s Street Car Park (CT1 2AA). Vehicle access via the south end of St Radigund’s Street (off Northgate/Borough) and Duck Lane. Having turned into St Radigund’s Street from Northgate/Borough, keep right at fork into Duck Lane. Follow this round to right at the end (St Radigund’s Car Park is in front of you). Drive through gate, park in school car park. Look for the Emmanuel Banner. A Steward should be on hand to direct.

From London/A2 LEFT at first roundabout (signed University) into London Road. RIGHT at mini-roundabout, towards city centre onto St Dunstan’s Street. Go OVER level crossing and turn LEFT at mini-roundabout into Station Road West. At roundabout take the 2nd exit continuing on Station Road West. At next roundabout continue OVER into The Causeway and cross the river. LEFT at minor T-junction into Pound Lane. This becomes St Radigund’s Street. However, access is only via the south end of the (one way) street off Northgate/Borough. So proceed past The Miller’s Arms and Dolphin pubs. Follow the road around to the right into Knotts Lane (by ‘Computer Corner’). LEFT at end into King Street, then AHEAD into Borough. Follow this round to the left. First LEFT opposite Jolly Sailor pub into St Radigund’s Street. Right-hand fork into Duck Lane and follow road around to right at the end.

From Wincheap Road/Ashford A28 RIGHT at main roundabout just under railway bridge. Follow ring road around city wall, keeping wall on your left. Continue into Military Road. At roundabout with Military Road and Tourtel Road, take first exit down towards the Sturry Road roundabout. Take the first exit there. Follow the road around the one way system (past the Alpha Romeo garage) and on to Northgate. At Jolly Sailor pub, turn right into St Radigund’s Street. Right-hand fork into Duck Lane and follow road around to right at the end.

From the East/Sturry/Margate/Herne Bay A28 At Kingsmead roundabout where the A28 turns left, continue OVER and follow around Alpha Romeo garage and into Northgate. Turn sharp RIGHT opposite Jolly Sailor Pub into St Radigund’s Street. Right-hand fork into Duck Lane and follow road around to right at the end.

By Bike/on foot: St John's Church of England Primary School (Kingsmead site) is a very short walk/cycle from city centre, best approached from Duck Lane or St Radigund’s Street Car Park. This is north of the Cathedral (a useful pointer), tucked away off St Radigund’s Street. Plenty of space for bikes in school grounds.

By Bus or Park and Ride: Buses stop at the terminus (St George’s Lane) beside Fenwick’s Department Store. Continue on foot to St George’s Street, which becomes High Street. Walk down pedestrian area keeping the Cathedral on right, past Nason’s to Costa Coffee. Turn right into Guildhall Street. Continue into Palace Street and Borough. At Jolly Sailor Pub turn left into St Radigund’s Street. Right-hand fork into Duck Lane and follow road around to right at the end.

By Train: Short walk from Canterbury West. Turn left out of the station into Station Road West, walk past Goods Shed to mini-roundabout and then right. At next roundabout, keep right and go straight ahead into The Causeway and over the river. Turn left into St Radigund’s Street, then left into the car park. St John's Church of England Primary School (Kingsmead site) is tucked away beyond the far corner. Look for the Emmanuel Banner on the fence. From Canterbury East, cross ring road using pedestrian bridge. Head down off the City Wall left and then right and follow into Castle Street. Follow into St Margaret’s Street. At the High Street, turn left, walk down pedestrian area keeping Cathedral on your right, past Nason’s. Turn right at Costa Coffee into Guildhall Street. Continue into Palace Street and Borough. At Jolly Sailor Pub turn left into St Radigund’s Street. Right-hand fork into Duck Lane and follow road around to right at the end.

St Dunstan’s Church Hall, 80 London Road CT2 8LS (Most Sunday evenings)

By Car:

From London/A2 Turn LEFT at the first roundabout as you arrive in Canterbury into London Road. St Dunstan’s Church Hall is on the right shortly before the church building and the mini-roundabout. But only ‘essential’ parking on site please.

From the East/Sturry/Margate/Herne Bay A28 At Kingsmead roundabout where A28 turns left, turn RIGHT into Kingsmead Road. Continue straight on past the entrance to Sainsbury’s and then LEFT at the next mini-roundabout on to St Stephen’s Road. At The Causeway Roundabout turn RIGHT into Station Road West (signposted Whitstable). At next roundabout turn LEFT into Station Road West. After passing station on right, at T-junction turn right on to A290 (signposted All routes). After the level crossing continue to mini-roundabout and turn LEFT into London Road. St Dunstan’s Church Hall is on the left just past the church building. But only ‘essential’ parking on site please.

From UKC/Whitstable Road: At min-roundabout by St Dunstan’s Church turn LEFT. St Dunstan’s Church Hall is just beyond the church building on the left.

By Bus or Park and Ride: There are three Park and Rides to choose from. Buses stop at the main terminus (St George’s Lane) beside Fenwick’s Department Store. Costa Coffee, 11 High Street CT1 2JE (Students on Thursday evenings)

We meet here from mid-September 2012. Beware – there are two Costa Coffee establishments in Canterbury!  This one in High Street is 300 metres from Westgate Towers.

5 Queen’s Avenue CT2 8AY (Occasional meetings) 

By Car:

From London/A2 Go straight across the first roundabout as you arrive in Canterbury and on to Rheims Way (two lanes). Take the first LEFT, a sharp turn into Queen’s Avenue (easy to miss, if you cross the railway line or get to another roundabout you have missed it). 5 Queen’s Avenue is the second building on the right. Park in the adjoining streets but observe parking restriction signs carefully.
