Exploring Christianity

What's the best news you've ever heard?

At a time like this, many of us are longing for some good news. And many of us will be asking more difficult questions about God and the meaning of life.

The message at the heart of Christianity is both simple and incredibly good news! It's all about one life, the life of Jesus, and it can be summed up in the answers to three questions: Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus come? What does it mean for us?

Perhaps this is all new to you, or perhaps you've done a fair bit of thinking already. Maybe you were taken to church as a child, or maybe you've never even heard of Jesus Christ.

Whatever your previous experience of Christianity, we'd like to invite you to join us for...

Christianity Explored

Christianity Explored is an eight-week course for anyone who would like to think about who Jesus is, why he came, and what it means for you.

It's run by Emmanuel Church Canterbury and is completely free. You don't need to know anything about the Bible, and you won't be asked to pray or sing. You can ask any question you like, or you can just sit and listen.

When & where?

There are two options so you can join whichever suits you best. Both begin on Tuesday 14th April 2020. The course will be held online using Zoom:

- Tuesday lunchtime: 12.15-1.15pm

- Tuesday evening: 7.45-8.45pm

If you have any questions or would like to sign up for Christianity Explored, please contact Jonny Sutton (Assistant Minister at Emmanuel Church):
