What is the best future you could ever imagine?
Here at Emmanuel Church Canterbury we are launching a new informal and relaxed three-session series to help people investigate the Christian faith: Hope Explored!
There are few emotions more powerful than hope. But these days, hope often feels hard to come by. Where can we find a hope that won’t disappoint us?
Hope Explored looks at the life, death and resurrection of Jesus in Luke’s Gospel and shows that Christianity is about real hope: a joyful expectation for the future, based on true events in the past, which changes everything about my present.
It’s run by ordinary Christian people local to you and is completely free. You don’t need to know anything about the Bible, and you won’t be asked to pray or sing. You can ask any question you like, or you can just sit and listen.
Whoever you are, whatever you’re thinking, Hope Explored is a place for you to discover the hope of a future that is better than you could ever imagine.

What's the best news you've ever heard?
At a time like this, many of us are longing for some good news. And many of us will be asking more difficult questions about God and the meaning of life.
The message at the heart of Christianity is both simple and incredibly good news! It's all about one life, the life of Jesus, and it can be summed up in the answers to three questions: Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus come? What does it mean for us?
Perhaps this is all new to you, or perhaps you've done a fair bit of thinking already. Maybe you were taken to church as a child, or maybe you've never even heard of Jesus Christ.
Whatever your previous experience of Christianity, we'd like to invite you to join us for...
Christianity Explored is an eight-week course for anyone who would like to think about who Jesus is, why he came, and what it means for you.
It's run by Emmanuel Church Canterbury and is completely free. You don't need to know anything about the Bible, and you won't be asked to pray or sing. You can ask any question you like, or you can just sit and listen.
